Review : Rajneeti is modern Mahabharata where you can find everybody via Duryodhana, Karna, Arjun to Sri Krishna, and even the end from the movie resembles the end involving Mahabharata .Mahabharata is one of the most complex unbelievable – difficult to understand in depth although you may know it all and same can be said for the movie Rajneeti .The particular script is very complex and also political moves change the direction of the movie in every landscape and the last part is much more like a bollywood revenge drama.
The film provides a different Ranbir Kapoor as he appears as Samar in the movie and he fits into his role nicely .Katrina has been more shown in trailers and she has a robust presence although the role regarding Manoj Bajpai , Arjun Rampal and Nana Patekar is far too powerful.
The story is about Prithvi Singh and Veerendra Pratap ,that are cousins are into politics rivalry and Veerendra is the crafty politician who takes the help of Sooraj (Sooraj is Karna of Mahabharata) who belongs to decrease caste , to get a lead over his / her opponent. Sooraj stands by Veerendra until his death.
Samar (played simply by Ranbir is the Arjun guided by Krishna to win Mahabharata) is Prithvi’s younger sibling away from politics but this individual joins the game and with the aid of senior political leader Brij Gopal , he or she makes the right moves for you to win the game. Incidentally, he’s been trying to take retribution for his father’s death. He’s hesitant to kill the enemy but under the guidance of Brij
Gopal – he does everything.
In the last part while Samar is not ready to kill unarmed Sooraj, he is advised by Brij to hit the enemy or this individual himself will be killed. And so the complex game of politics depicted by Jha is sharp surrounded and even shocks.
Dialogues starting with “Hum “ as an alternative to “Main” reminds of U.S. and Bihar belt .Surprises originates from Ranbir , Arjun and Manoj – who appear confident in the role and match it well. Ranbir could do more of these kinds of roles instead of taking part in the lover boy. Arjun has not been given this much of importance on the watch’s screen and he really did a fantastic job in Rajneeti. Ajay is Prakash Jha’s all time professional; he speaks with strength and gives a sense of sincerity and reliability. Naseerruddin – a powerful actor — did not get much scope and same is said for Shruti Seth, that is effective in small role. There was too many leading actors – therefore a struggle for screen reputation was obvious. The movie offers a lot from real life political drama and each and every scene has a great value.
Direction, cinematorgrpahy, enhancing – all are good. Costumes and appear meet the need. Music has no scope and it has been applied niggardly.
The movie has the power to hold yourself – although at points you really feel the intensity is too high. As compared to the movies released within the last few weeks, this one comes with a meaning and a script.
